Prologis UK has signed a new 10-year lease agreement with Top Cloud Logistic Ltd for DC2 at Prologis Park Midpoint in the West Midlands, supporting the customer's continued expansion into the UK market.
The agreement sees Top Cloud take occupation of the 155,000 sq ft facility which has 38 dock doors, an 11-metre clear internal height and LED lighting throughout. Importantly, the building will be delivered as a ready-to-operate logistics operation, enabling Top Cloud to accelerate its expansion ambitions whilst minimising onsite operational downtime.
A key element of the transaction was the retention of the building's existing racking and mezzanine. Through Prologis Essentials, Prologis ensured these assets remained in situ, allowing Top Cloud to benefit from a faster, more cost-effective occupation programme.
The agreement builds on Top Cloud's existing presence at Prologis Park Midpoint – in 2025 the company leased DC6 as its main UK fulfilment centre. It is testament to the strength of partnership between the two companies that the transaction was completed in short timescales for both party’s mutual benefit.
