Space Providers Euros 2024 competition
Terms and Conditions for the Prologis Euros 2024 Competition (the “Competition”)
1. The promoter for this competition is Prologis UK Limited (company number 02872273) whose registered office address is Prologis House, Blythe Valley Park, Solihull, West Midlands, England B90 8AH (“Prologis UK”).
2. These terms and conditions apply to the Competition being run by Prologis UK consisting of participation in an online fantasy football league competition (the “Online League”) in connection with the UEFA European Football Championship 2024 (the “Euros”). By entering this Competition, an entrant is indicating his/her/their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
3. The Competition is in no way affiliated with the Euros or any online platform used to administer the Competition.
4. Prologis UK shall not be responsible for technical errors in telecommunications networks, internet access or otherwise or any third-party products or actions preventing access to or participation in the Competition. No responsibility can be accepted for entries lost, delayed, misdirected, damaged or undelivered. Incomplete, inaudible, edited and/or illegible entries will be disqualified.
5. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
6. This Competition is open to residents of the UK, aged 18 years or over only, who have been directly invited to the Competition by email by an employee of Prologis UK using their ‘@prologis.com’ email address, except:
- a. employees of Prologis UK or its holding or subsidiary companies;
- b. employees of agents or suppliers of Prologis UK or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the setting-up of the Competition or its administration.
7. Entries to the Competition are made by an entrant completing the following steps:
- a. an entrant must click on the link to the Google Survey for the Competition that will be sent to the entrant’s email address and complete the survey with their name and business email address. The Google Survey must be completed by 23:59 on 12 June 2024 and the information contained within it will be submitted to J2 Design Marketing Digital Ltd (company number 05607139) (“J2”);
- b. within 2 working days after submitting the Google Survey, an entrant will receive a link to join the Online League. An entrant must click on the link and follow the on-screen instructions to set-up their team on the Online League;
- c. After joining the Online League, an entrant must submit their team name and remain in the Online League until the Closing Date to be eligible for the prizes.
8. No other entry method will be accepted. No Google Survey submissions will be accepted after 23:59 on 12th June 2024 and no admissions to the Online League will be permitted after 23:59.
9. The team name chosen by entrants to join the Online League must be professional and respectful and must not contain any profanities, vulgarities or language that could be considered offensive or inappropriate or discriminatory towards any individual, group, race, gender, sexual orientation, religion nationality or any other characteristic protected by law. Any entrant in violation of this requirement will be subject to disqualification and Prologis UK reserve the right to reject and disqualify any such entrant without further justification.
10. The code to join the Online League must only be used by the entrant to whom it is sent and cannot be transferred, assigned, shared with or used by any other person.
11. Prologis UK reserves the right to refuse entry to the Competition, suspend any entrant from the Competition and refuse to award a Prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
12. An entrant must have both completed the Google Survey and joined the Online League for their entry into the Competition to count.
13. Only one entry per person is allowed. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.
14. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this Competition.
15. Prizes will be awarded as follows, subject to clause 19 below:
a. Overall prizes when the Euros finish on 14th July 2024 (the “Overall Prizes”):
- i. 1st Place in the Online League: £1,500 FlightGift voucher;
- ii. 2nd Place in the Online League: £750 Mr & Mrs Smith e-gift card;
- iii. 3rd Place in the Online League: £300 Mr & Mrs Smith e-gift card; and
- iv. ‘Wooden Spoon’ (for Last Place in the Online League): a 75cl bottle of champagne.
b. An Interim Prize of a £300 Voucher for The Ivy will be awarded to the entrant at the top of the Online League at the following stages during the Euros, subject to clause 17 below (the “Interim Prizes”):
- i. At the End of the Group Stage;
- ii. At the end of the Round of 16s;
- iii. At the end of the Quarter Finals; and
- iv. At the end of the Semi Finals.
Each a “Prize” and collectively referred to as the “Prizes”.
16. Prizes are subject to availability and Prologis UK reserves the right to substitute a Prize with a prize of equal or greater value. The Prizes are not negotiable, not-transferable, not-exchangeable and there is no cash equivalent or alternative offered.
17. There are a total of 4 Interim Prizes available, one for each stage detailed in clause 14.b, but an entrant cannot win more than one Interim Prize each. In the event that the winner of an Interim Prize has already won an Interim Prize, the next person placed in the Online League will be the winner until the Interim Prize reaches a winner who has not won an Interim Prize previously. An entrant may win one Interim Prize and one Overall Prize.
18. The winners of the Prizes will be determined by the entrant’s ranking in the Online League at the relevant point in time from all eligible entries received. Entries eligible to win are those that have submitted a Google Survey and joined the Online League by 23:59 on 12th June 2024.
19. In the event of a draw for any Prize, the value of each Prize will be split between the number of winners and a voucher for the split amount of each Prize will be awarded to each winner.
20. The winner of each Interim Prize will be notified by email by Prologis UK or by J2 by email on the relevant notification date (the “relevant Notification Date”) as follows:
Stage of Euros Notification Date
- At the End of the Group Stage; 27th June 2024
- At the end of the Round of 16s; 3rd July 2024
- At the end of the Quarter Finals; and 8th July 2024
- At the end of the Semi Finals. 11th July 2024
21. The winners of the Overall Prizes will be notified on or before 31st July 2024 (the “Draw Date”).
22. The winners of the Prizes will need to respond by email to Prologis UK or J2 within 5 working days of the relevant Notification Date or the Draw Date (as applicable) and include details of their address to which the Prize should be sent.
23. Once the Prize is accepted, the Prize will be sent to a winner within 30 days of relevant Notification Date or the Draw Date (as applicable).
24. Each Prize is awarded conditionally upon acceptance and if a winner is unable to be contacted after a reasonable period or if the Prize is unclaimed within a reasonable period, the Prize shall be deemed as unclaimed or unaccepted and a supplemental winner may be selected at Prologis UK’s discretion.
25. The Competition will run from (and including) 29th May 2024 to (and including) 14th July 2024 (the “Closing Date”). Entries received after 23:59 on 12th June 2024 are automatically disqualified.
26. Prologis UK must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation, Prologis UK will publish the full name of the winners of the Competition by email to the same email addresses that were invited to enter the Competition. The winners can withdraw their consent to their name being published at any time by emailing [email protected]. In such circumstances, Prologis UK must still provide the information and winning entries to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
27. Prologis UK reserves the right to cancel or amend the Competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of Prologis UK’s control. Any changes to the Competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by Prologis UK via email and/or on Prologis UK’s website (https://prologis.co.uk/).
28. Prologis UK’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the Competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
29. All participation in the Online League must be an entrant's own work and decisions. Under no circumstances is an entrant allowed to use a third-party or electronic or computer generated team selection or involve any other person or machine in selecting its team or decisions made in the Online League.
30. Insofar as is permitted by law, Prologis UK, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winners or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Prize except where it is caused by the negligence of Prologis UK, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
31. Entrants are providing their information to Prologis UK and J2 only. See also clause 22 with regard to the announcement of the winner. The information provided will be used in conjunction with the following Privacy Policy found at: https://prologis.co.uk/privacy-policy/.
32. The Competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
