Space Providers Selfie Competition

Terms and Conditions for the ‘IAS Space Providers’ Social Media Competition (the “Competition”)

1. This Competition is being run by Prologis UK Limited (company number 02872273) whose registered office address is Prologis House, Blythe Valley Park, Solihull, West Midlands, England B90 8AH (“Prologis UK”).
These terms and conditions apply to the Competition being run by Prologis UK at the IAS Awards held at JW Marriott Grosvenor House, London on 26 September 2023 (the “Awards”). By entering this Competition, an entrant is indicating his/her/their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Prologis UK shall not be responsible for technical errors in telecommunications networks, internet access or otherwise or any third-party products or actions preventing access to or participation in the Competition or delivery of the Prizes. No responsibility can be accepted for entries lost, delayed, misdirected, damaged or undelivered. Incomplete, inaudible, edited and/or illegible entries will be disqualified.
No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
This Competition is open to residents of the UK, aged 18 years or over only, except:
1. employees of Prologis UK or its holding or subsidiary companies;
2. employees of agents or suppliers of Prologis UK or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the setting-up of the Competition or its administration; or
3. members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.
To enter the Competition, entrants must:
1. take a picture of themselves wearing the Prologis branded facemask distributed at the Awards (the “Selfie”); and
2. upload the Selfie to either LinkedIn and/or Instagram (each a “Platform”) and tag the relevant Handle (as defined below) in their post by 5.30pm on Wednesday 27 September 2023 (the “Closing Date”).
  No other entry method will be accepted.
Prologis UK’s accounts/handles (“Handle”) for each of the Platforms is:
1. LinkedIn: @prologisuk
2. Instagram: @prologis_uk
Multiple entries from the same person are permitted, however an individual entrant may only win one Prize. Entries which are marked as edited after being originally posted by an entrant will be disqualified.
There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this Competition.
The prize is a £100 Amazon electronic voucher (the “Prize”) and there are three Prizes available. Prologis UK reserves the right to substitute the Prize with a prize of equal or greater value. The Prize is non-transferable.
The Competition will run from (and including) 12pm on Tuesday 26 September 2023 to 5.30pm on the Closing Date. All entries received after 5.31pm on the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.
The three winners will be judged by an independent judge on Thursday 28 September 2023 (the “Draw Date”) from all the eligible entries received and based on the best Selfie in the judge’s opinion. Entries eligible to win are those Selfies uploaded to either of the Platforms with the relevant Handle tagged into the post.
Prologis UK will send the full name of the judge to anyone who writes within 2 weeks after the Closing Date requesting the details of the judge and who encloses a self-addressed envelope to Prologis UK’s address set out in clause 1.
The winners will be notified on or within 48 hours of the Draw Date via direct message on the Platform on which they submitted their winning entry. The winners will need to respond by direct message to Prologis UK within 5 days of the Draw Date and include their email address to receive the Prize.
Once the Prize is accepted, the Prize will be emailed to the email address provided by the winners within 30 days of the Draw Date.
The Prize is awarded conditionally upon acceptance and if a winner is unable to be contacted after a reasonable period or if the Prize is unclaimed within a reasonable period, the Prize shall be deemed as unclaimed or unaccepted and a supplemental winner may be chosen at Prologis UK’s discretion.
The winners agree by submitting their entry to being named on Prologis UK's Platforms as one of the winners of the Competition and details of their entry and a copy of their selfie included.
Prologis UK does not claim any rights of ownership in the entrants’ entries into the Competition.
By submitting an entry and any accompanying materials into the Competition, the entrants confirm and agree that:
1. images and other submissions are original works, are not defamatory and do not infringe third-party rights;
2. there are no conflicting agreements in place that restrict usage of these images or other submissions;
3. you have consent to use any third-party image in the entry and rights have been waived for that use. If a third party image is of a person under 18, parental or guardian consent must be provided;
4. you will produce evidence of any required consents at Prologis UK’s request, or risk being disqualified from entering the Competition; and
5. Prologis UK may, but is not required to, make your entry available on its website (www.prologis.co.uk) and any other media, whether now known or invented in the future, and in connection with any publicity of the Competition. You agree to grant Prologis UK a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable licence, for the full period of any intellectual property rights in the competition entry and any accompanying materials and copyright to use, adapt, display, publish, transmit, copy, edit, alter, store, re-format and sub-licence the competition entry, the Selfie and any accompanying materials for such purposes and to third parties.
Prologis UK reserves the right to cancel or amend the Competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of Prologis UK’s control. Any changes to the Competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by Prologis UK through the Platforms and/or on Prologis UK’s website (https://prologis.co.uk/).
Prologis UK’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the Competition and the decision of the judge nominated by Prologis UK in respect to the winners will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Insofar as is permitted by law, Prologis UK, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winners or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Prize except where it is caused by the negligence of Prologis UK, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, LinkedIn or Instagram. Entrants are providing their information to Prologis UK and not to any other party. See also clause 16 with regard to the announcement of the winners. The Competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
