Terms and Conditions for the ‘Rugby Quiz’ Email Competition (the “Competition”)
1. The promoter for this competition is Prologis UK Limited (company number 02872273) whose registered office address is Prologis House, Blythe Valley Park, Solihull, West Midlands, England B90 8AH (“Prologis UK”).
2. These terms and conditions apply to the email Competition being run by Prologis UK consisting of a quiz of which the majority of questions concern Prologis Park Rugby. By entering this Competition, an entrant is indicating his/her/their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
3. Prologis UK shall not be responsible for technical errors in telecommunications networks, internet access or otherwise or any third-party products or actions preventing access to or participation in the Competition. No responsibility can be accepted for entries lost, delayed, misdirected, damaged or undelivered. Incomplete, inaudible, edited and/or illegible entries will be disqualified.
4. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
5. This Competition is open to residents of the UK, aged 18 years or over only, except:
employees of Prologis UK or its holding or subsidiary companies;
- employees of agents or suppliers of Prologis UK or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the setting-up of the Competition or its administration; or
- members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.
6. Entries to the Competition are made by an entrant clicking the link to the Google Survey for the Competition that will be sent to the entrants’ email address, answering the 4 quiz questions and submitting their answers, name and contact details to Prologis UK by pressing the ‘submit’ button. No other entry method will be accepted.
7. Only one entry per person is allowed. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.
8. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this Competition.
9 The prize is a 75cl bottle of Moet & Chandon Brut Imperial Champagne (the “Prize”). There are up to 5 prizes available to be won. Prizes are subject to availability and Prologis UK reserves the right to substitute the Prize with a prize of equal or greater value. The Prize is not negotiable or transferable.
10. The Competition will run from (and including) 28 September 2023 to 11.59pm on Friday 6 October 2023 (the “Closing Date”). Entries received after 11.59pm on the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.
11. The winners will be selected at electronically at random on Tuesday 10 October 2023 (the “Draw Date”) from all the eligible entries received. Entries eligible to win are those that have answered the 4 quiz questions for the Competition correctly. In the event that no entries are submitted with 4 correct answers, the entries with 3 correct answers to the quiz questions will be the eligible entries and the winners will be selected electronically at random from all those entries with 3 correct answers (if applicable). In the event of multiple entries with the correct number of answers (as applicable), the winners will be drawn at random electronically.
12. The winners will be notified by Prologis UK via email on or within 48 hours of the Draw Date. The winners will need to respond by email to Prologis UK within 5 days of the Draw Date and include details of their address to which the Prize should be sent.
13. Once the Prize is accepted, the Prize will be sent to a winner within 30 days of the Draw Date.
14. The Prize is awarded conditionally upon acceptance and if a winner is unable to be contacted after a reasonable period or if the Prize is unclaimed within a reasonable period, the Prize shall be deemed as unclaimed or unaccepted and a supplemental winner may be drawn at Prologis UK’s discretion.
15. Prologis UK must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation, Prologis UK will publish the full name of the winners of the Competition by email to the same email addresses that were invited to enter the Competition. The winners can withdraw their consent to their name being published at any time by emailing [email protected]. In such circumstances, Prologis UK must still provide the information and winning entries to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
16. Prologis UK reserves the right to cancel or amend the Competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of Prologis UK’s control. Any changes to the Competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by Prologis UK through the Platforms and/or on Prologis UK’s website (https://prologis.co.uk/).
17. Prologis UK’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the Competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
18. Insofar as is permitted by law, Prologis UK, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winners or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Prize except where it is caused by the negligence of Prologis UK, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
19. Entrants are providing their information to Prologis UK and not to any other party. See also clause 15 with regard to the announcement of the winner. The information provided will be used in conjunction with the following Privacy Policy found at: https://prologis.co.uk/privacy-policy/.
20. The Competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
