Prologis today announced it has signed two new lease agreements at Prologis Dawley Road.

Food supplier, Levantine, and construction company, Sir Robert McAlpine, are the latest to sign leases at the high-profile site, which benefits from its close proximity to Heathrow cargo terminal and the eagerly awaited Crossrail facility.

Levantine – a leading producer of processed nuts and seeds - needed an alternative facility that would enable it to move its processing facility with minimum delay and disruption. The company will lease a 28,081 square foot building at Dawley Road to help it accommodate future growth plans and act as a showpiece for potential customers. Sir Robert McAlpine will take a 2,837 square foot facility at the site.

“We wanted to work with a company who could remove the frustration of relocating our facility,” said David Danil, Managing Director of Levantine. “Prologis was able to find us a new location within its portfolio of properties in London and we are looking forward to moving our operation into a modern, sustainable facility, which will enhance our green credentials and present the right image to our customers.”

“Changing facility locations can be a long, expensive, and frustrating process for a company,” said Paul Weston, head of London & South East markets, Prologis UK. “Our aim was to work with the customer to help them find the right building and to make the relocation process as seamless and straightforward as possible.”

Prologis owns and manages approximately 25 million square feet of logistics and industrial space in the UK as of December 31st 2017.
