Prologis leases 151,000 square feet to Dwell at Milton Keynes

Prologis, Inc., the  global leader in logistics real estate, today announced a lease agreement for a purpose-built 151,000 square foot distribution centre at Prologis Park Marston Gate to furniture retailer Dwell.

The new facility is the first unit to be built on land that Prologis has acquired to extend the existing park. Construction began in June and the distribution centre, which has been designed to achieve a minimum BREEAM ‘excellent’ accreditation and the best EPC rating possible for its size, is scheduled for completion in early 2017.

“The building will serve as the national distribution centre for Dwell,” said Marcin Twardysko, Head of Distribution, Dwell. “Marston Gate is in an ideal location for our logistics network, and the unit has the flexibility to accommodate Dwell’s continuing growth. We are delighted to have secured it.”

Prologis Park Marston Gate is located to the south east of Milton Keynes next to Junction 13 of the M1. Situated at the heart of the UK motorway network, the park provides easy access to consumer markets in the Midlands, the South and the South East.
