Prologis RFI DIRFT is at the heart of the UK's multi-modal logistics and distribution networks

THIS IS Multimodal

Prologis RFI DIRFT is at the heart of the UK’s multi-modal logistics and the distribution network. In rail terms, DIRFT is connected to the West Coast Main Line with direct access to major UK and European destinations, via Felixstowe and other intermodal terminals.
The connectivity from DIRFT is unrivalled. There is existing critical mass of rail freight already flowing through the railport from Felixtowe, Southampton, Scotland and Wales.

Now and into the future the potential economic and environmental benefits, either as a resilience measure or an additional method of transportation, make the rail offer at DIRFT one that will benefit your logistics supply chain.

Going the extra mile

We have seen with our customers Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Eddie Stobart specifically, that moving freight by rail has a growing place in their logistics operations; they each have at least one facility at DIRFT.
We recognise the opportunities that moving goods by rail can bring our customers, hence, in 2006, our significant investment in Daventry International Rail Freight Terminal and our proposal to develop a new state of the art Rail Terminal at DIRFT.
