Bosch-Siemens at Prologis Park Kettering
The Requirement
- BSH Home Appliances, the distribution arm of BSH Bosch und Siemens Hausgeräte, needed a new 400,000 sq ft UK distribution facility quickly. It was vital that the company was able to move into its new premises by early December to prepare for the post-Christmas sales rush
The Solution
- Prologis was able to work to provide a site of the right size with planning permission at its site in Kettering
- The team worked with BSH to modify the existing design to create a building of 427,000 sq ft including 20,000 sq ft of offices over two floors and 10,000 sq ft of support/hub offices
- Following a 30 week programme the building was completed and fitted out on 5 December
